Mozambique is OMS’ largest residential field in Africa. We currently have a need for qualified professors at Seminário Bíblico e Teológico de Maputo( Maputo Biblical and Theological Seminary), our Bible school located in Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique. Portuguese fluency is a requirement for these roles. Also, our current field treasurer is nearing retirement, and we are seeking a replacement for this vital role. SEMINARY PROFESSOR Maputo, Mozambique
Students are hungry to learn more about God’ s Word and how to use it effectively. Professors at Maputo Biblical and Theological Seminary( MBTS) have the unique opportunity to help develop leaders who will impact the church in Mozambique and Southern Africa. They will teach, supervise student research and writing, recruit, advise, and mentor students outside the classroom. They will also assist in creating a dynamic environment for theological education, developing curriculum, and furthering the academic goals of MBTS.
FIELD TREASURER Maputo, Mozambique
The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding and implementing mission policies and procedures with regard to finance. They will oversee the work of employed staff in the business offices and provide advice and assistance with regard to data entry and reporting. They will also ensure all accounts are up-to-date, data is entered, and banks and cash boxes are balanced. They may be required to do data entry, will serve as signatory on mission accounts, and will authorize wire transfers and salary payments online.
