Where using the ocean like a waste bin. We’re killing many animals in the ocean for many reasons: animals that eat jellyfish mistake plastic bags for jellyfish and choke and die, many animals such as seals get stuff in holes of plastic bags and suffocate. NRDC analyzed a survey of 95 California communities and found their total annual costs for preventing from being pollution is $428 million dollars a year.
What has our ocean
become?
Not only is waste taking up our oceans,
but we're running out of space to live on. Food packaging plays a huge role in the u.s. but at the same time it is causing a lot of damage to the environment. When use plastics and other materials for the shipping of food it keeps our food amazingly fresh and safe for us to eat, but it is becoming a problem due to pollution issues. We use too much of these unnatural products to keep our food safe, and that’s great until we reach a point when we have no where to put the trash anymore without burning fuels and putting hazards in the air.
