Dare2Tri Sleeveless Shortie

Targeted to beginners and daily training, this wetsuit is hard wearing and made to last. The suit is made from Yamamoto 39 Cell neoprene and ranges from 2mm in the sleeves and shoulders to 4mm in the torso. The quality of the suit is excellent and put together well. The neoprene that the suit is made of does not seem to be as fragile as others, making it a lot more hard wearing and suitable for constant use and weekly training.

The neoprene feels rigid compared to other wetsuits making it a little less flexible when swimming, this also seems to stop it from being as fitted as it should. It is still comfortable though and only causes a little chaffing around the neck.

It is a great suit for both training and racing. Although it is targeted at entry level swimmers, it is great value and is made to last. It’s rare to hear any negative words about this suit and I agree.

If you are looking for something to wear in warmer waters, the Dare2Tri Sleeveless Shortie may be what you're looking for. The suit is made from Qfoam 39 cell Smoothskin neoprene ranging from 3.5mm thickness in the back to 5mm in the legs and body.

Although it is a short sleeve short leg wetsuit, it's very reasonably priced and the neoprene is also made to last. The fit is very snug, but this is to stop extra water getting into the wetsuit. It is comfortable though and lets you move freely without any issues of rubbing or chaffing.

You are missing the extra buoyancy in the legs and arms which does effect your performance, but this is to be expected. This is a unique offering in the market and a nice change for someone like me who prefers not to go without a wetsuit over the summer months.

Although it is good quality, the logo on the front of the chest did come off after only a couple of swims.
