s technological advances and scientific discoveries continue to push the
limits of space exploration, visionaries, entrepreneurs, and government
agencies are making plans for humankind’s future beyond Earth’s orbit.
However, the future is currently uncertain because there are many elements still
missing in the effort to make most of the predictions a reality.
The technologies that are supposed to take humans to Mars have not yet been
developed, and the rise of nationalism could threaten international cooperation in
space exploration. Therefore, what will be the main space exploration milestones
(and what will not be) by 2030? We consulted with space experts.
