It has been another momentous year for Bob Rennie . His eponymous real estate marketing firm opened its new offices in Vancouver ’ s False Creek . The move took place shortly after he had pledged $ 7.8 million to house the Chinese Canadian Museum in the historic Wing Sang building , his previous headquarters in Chinatown .

Rennie is ever colourful , extraordinarily successful , and somewhat controversial . Where better to reflect on all of that than during the last few days of 51 @ 51 , a fitting final exhibition for his rennie museum at 51 East Pender . No topic was off limits , from his art collection and talks about social injustice , to the state of real estate and milestone moments in his life .
