In turn , restaurants are levelling up with finely crafted food that will make one forget that it is necessary to eat meat at all .
If we dive into the Vancouver vegetarian scene , it has come a long way from the limited options of a few decades ago . During that time , we would find vegetarian options at Indian and Chinese restaurants along with a Lower Mainland staple – The Naam . However , we are in an unprecedented time of meatless cuisine where the dizzying array of options include the aforementioned Asian cuisines , pizza , burgers and fine dining .

The Acorn ’ s multi-course tasting menu takes you on a journey through textures and flavours
