On paper , the new QX60 receives noteworthy improvements to performance and driving dynamics . The trusted 295-horsepower 3.5-litre V6 engine makes a return to this generation , but the outgoing model ’ s CVT is now replaced by a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission that improves off-road capability and maximum towing capacity . The luxury three-row crossover space may be packed with competitors , but it looks like Infiniti has a winning formula on its hands .
