Today , however , there ’ s no sign of Cheryl Blossom . Instead , a smiley , barefaced Madelaine Petsch walks into the studio , ready to transform into a different character for the camera . It ’ s her day off from filming , yet she has graciously agreed to a photoshoot with OpenRoad Driver . I sit down with her in between looks to chat about acting , cars , and all that is Madelaine Petsch .
You enrolled into theatre classes from a very young age . Was there a particular moment or event that you recall as being influential in your decision to go into theatre and performing arts ?
I don ’ t think there was a moment where it all clicked for me . I was enrolled into ballet at a very young age and just loved performing . I ’ m really lucky to have parents who support and love the arts . They put me in theatre soon after , and I just knew that was it . There is nothing else like the feeling of performing and taking on a character for me , even at a young age .
What ’ s one event or incident that ’ s been unforgettable on set , that you ’ d be able to share with our readers ?
I ’ d say working with a true legend like Luke Perry has always been something I hold close to my heart . He gave me so much sage advice , talked me down during many moments of pressure or stress in all of the new events of being on a TV show . He really held my hand through the whole process , and I learned so much about set etiquette from him . I feel very lucky to have known him .
Who ’ s your number one favourite actor or actress of all-time ? Do you have a favourite movie ?
I don ’ t know if I have a favourite actor . It varies so much depending on what I ’ m watching … BUT , I do have a couple of favourite movies : True Romance , Fight Club , Casablanca , and probably Moonrise Kingdom . These are all movies I could watch every day for the rest of my life .
