The naming of Petra as one of the seven New Wonders of the World further inspires a visit . There , the once lost city and southern desert prove even more magnificent than ever imagined . Petra ’ s rose rock architecture reveals a most glorious Arabian kingdom . To the south , Wadi Rum offers more extraordinary landscapes and exciting new adventures .

AL KHAZNEH : The spectacular Al Khazneh Treasury once welcomed caravans into Petra . Its sophisticated architecture represents the best of many red sandstone facades throughout the ancient city .
