The elegant and modern showroom highlights the best of Porsche, with three vehicle displays, a Porsche Design boutique space, and art inspired by the incredible brand. Porsche Now Richmond is the first to unveil the new Porsche Now pop-up identity, with an elegant and minimalist design, understated lighting, and modern lounge spaces for visitors to admire the vehicles or design one of their own. A door at the rear of the showroom transports visitors into the Porsche Now endless mirror room. Featuring floor-to-ceiling reflective walls and added design details, the room offers a unique infinity effect, as well as a fun photo opportunity for guests before they continue through the room into the parking structure entrance. Providing the space with a gallery feel is an original mural commissioned by internationally recognized, Chinese-Canadian artist Carson Ting of Chairman Ting Industries. Upon first entry to the showroom from the street entrance, the mural garners attention from the rear wall of the space. One of his most ambitious hand-painted murals to date, the piece focuses on the classic 911 Carrera 4S Turbo, weaving together intricate lines and roads to form something high in movement and energy. In a dedicated space on the west side of the showroom, the only Porsche Design boutique in Canada offers Porsche’s signature lifestyle products including fashion, timepieces, luggage, and accessories. For prospective shoppers interested in building their dream Porsche, an interactive and immersive augmented reality experience awaits on the opposite side of the showroom. Using AR technology and projection mapping on a model vehicle, guests can build and customize their Porsche in 3D. The experience will allow guests to virtually walk around the car, as well as step inside it to customize the interior finishings. When completed in the Richmond Auto Mall, the Porsche Centre Richmond building will be one of Canada’s largest Porsche centres. It will feature Porsche’s curved building design, in addition to the latest in customer amenities and the most advanced sales and service technology. The building design will also accommodate a full range of new electric vehicles that Porsche plans to roll out over the next several years, beginning with the Taycan. The pop-up location has already hosted an opening reception and a launch of the new Porsche Taycan, as well as celebrated the ground- breaking of the eventual home of the flagship Porsche Centre Richmond.
