It all starts with a kiss, that
journey towards love, when
even a fleeting one can mark
the start of unexpected
excitement.
We’re on the Asian leg of
Cunard’s 2019 world tour
aboard the grand Queen
Mary 2 cruise ship. Our
visit to the Huangyaguan
portion of the Great Wall of
China is still very fresh in our
minds, but the next port of
call is Kitakyushu on Kyushu
Island in southern Japan. It is
the least known destination
on our ship’s itinerary –
Shanghai, Tianjin-Beijing,
Kitakyushu, Seogwipo-Jeju
Island, Hong Kong – yet it’s
the one that captures our
hearts.
