110 » OpenRoad Driver Groundbreaking Ceremony Porsche Centre Richmond » British Columbia’s auto giants, OpenRoad Auto Group and Dilawri Group of Companies announced their partnership with Porsche Cars Canada to bring a new state-of-the-art Porsche centre to Richmond by late 2020. The plans and new partnership were revealed during a groundbreaking ceremony that marked the official start of construction of the new Porsche Centre Richmond at the Richmond Auto Mall. both achieved the highest success and have been honoured with the Porsche Canada Premier Dealership Award for industry excellence. Porsche Centre Richmond will be the third and largest Porsche centre in the Vancouver area, and will be jointly owned and operated through a newly formed partnership between OpenRoad Auto Group and Dilawri Group of Companies. “This is an exciting new era for Porsche in BC with two of BC’s largest automotive groups combining their strengths, expertise and passion for Porsche in order to deliver on a vision for a new flagship location that will embody the very essence of the Porsche brand,” said Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group. Marc Ouayoun, President & CEO of Porsche Cars Canada along with Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group, and Ajay Dilawri, Principal Director of Dilawri Group of Companies, unveiled plans for the new 75,000-square-foot retail and service centre that will feature a massive new and pre-owned showroom, expansive service and parts area with 15 service bays, a service drive-thru and specialized delivery area. The new centre will staff approximately 40 employees in the areas of sales, service, management and administration.
