Porsche Rally to Whistler
Porsche Centre Langley
»
Porsche Centre Langley hosted 75 Porsche
vehicles for the inaugural Porsche Rally to
Whistler. The rally assembled passionate
Porsche enthusiasts from across the Lower
Mainland and Washington to enjoy
their vehicles while raising funds for the
Pemberton Firefighters Association.
The day began in Langley led by
OpenRoad Auto Group president,
Christian Chia, driving a heart-pounding
Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar, one
of only 918 in the world. “It was quite the
sight to see all the Porsches revving up for
an amazing ride to Whistler,” said Michael
Chase, general manager of Porsche Centre
Langley.
The rally made its way to the Pemberton
Airport, where ralliers had the opportunity
to race each other on the closed runway
following a high-speed demonstration by
Chia in the 918 Spyder and OpenRoad
Racing’s driver, Remo Ruscitti, in a 911
GT3 Cup race car. The event culminated
in a dinner reception at the Four Seasons
Resort Whistler.
The rally was organized by Luxury Alliance
Group, the hosts of Diamond Rally and
Luxury & Supercar Weekend.
