To introduce a new line of hair-care products,
digital screens on a Stockholm subway platform
were fitted with ultrasonic sensors that reacted
to the arrival of trains. This created the illusion
of a woman’s hair blowing in the wind from
the turbulence caused by the train’s arrival
or departure. This one digital panel went viral
online in over 190 countries, capturing over
2.5 million unique views.
