After David had sinned (Story of Bathsheba and David), only after David confesses his sin to Nathan ("I have sinned against the LORD") does God takes away the sin.

Upward, Inward, Outward, Forward
There will be a Pathway Member's meeting on February 9th after second service.
If you are looking to serve at church, the following ministries are always looking for help:

- Nursery
In January, the CG leaders will be going over the book/workshop guide "Upward, Inward, Outward, Forward: Improving the 4 Dynamics of Your Small Group." This is a workshop on identifying strengths and weaknesses of a small group, and a guide on improving the weaknesses.
Once I have completed this book, I will provide details of how Open Door scored, and what the book recommends. If you would like to go over the book with me, please let me know. Everyone is also welcomed to join me at the CG leaders gathering starting on January 20.

Prayer Requests
The contents of the prayer requests will come from members of Open Door. If there are prayer requests you would like to share with the entire group, please e-mail it to me. I hope that in the next issue, this section takes up an entire page.
My prayer is that every family makes strides towards God in 2014. God has put this group together for a reason and I pray that each family will have the support and encouragement to make improvements in their time spent with God.
