Kenmark donates $ 10K to charities

Kenmark Eyewear has donated $ 10,000 to various charities as part of its ‘ The Season of Giving Back campaign , which took place in December .
Each week throughout the month , Kenmark donated a portion of sales to several charities and initiatives dear to their heart and encouraged customers to get involved globally .
The charities chosen for donation are the National Forest Foundation , whom they have renewed their partnership with for 2021 , Mental Health America , National Alliance to End Homelessness , Best Friends Animal Society and UNICEF .
The company feels bringing awareness to these causes is now more important than ever and wants to show their support for mental health , homelessness , animals , the environment and kids in need . They have chosen a charity that will really benefit each of these important causes and are excited that their customers were able to help .
“ We ’ re so happy with the outcome of our giving back campaign ,” says CEO , Mike Cundiff . “ It ’ s been a tough year for everyone and we ’ re thrilled to support and be able to get our customers involved in helping others and our environment .” OP
ENCHROMA NAMES NEW CEO
EnChroma , Inc ., creators of EnChroma eyewear for colour blindness , has named Erik Ritchie as its CEO .
To EnChroma , Ritchie brings 25 years of experience in the optical industry and other fields . Most recently , he was chief commercial officer for Zenni Optical .
“ Erik brings a unique combination of experience in the optical , consumer and technology industries to EnChroma and really understands what consumers want in optical products ,” says Bob Dykes , executive chairman of EnChroma .
“ He has a clear vision for expanding EnChroma ’ s market lead in solutions for colour vision deficiency and is the right person to help the company reach even more people who are colour blind or suffer from low-vision .”
Ritchie ’ s 25 years of experience spans organizational strategy , brand management , performance marketing , merchandising , talent management and eCommerce operations .
VISION COUNCIL GROWS RESEARCH TEAM
The Vision Council has appointed Alysse Henkel as director of research data and analytics .
Henkel will be responsible for leading the development of new data management and statistical analysis systems to enhance The Vision Council ’ s VisionWatch consumer and ECP panel survey and research programs . She will also be charged with driving engagement of new technology to streamline The Vision Council ’ s reporting processes , while laying the groundwork for an improved market modeling and consumer insights program .
Henkel ’ s appointment marks an expansion of The Vision Council ’ s research team , overseen by Nathan Troxell , director of consumer and market insights . She will work alongside Steve Kodey , The Vision Council ’ s senior director of industry research .
