Community Begins with You
It turns out, the most important connection a resident
is looking for is the one they have with you. Think about
your favorite restaurant, any club where you have
membership, or any nice hotel you’ve stayed at. It’s not
the other patrons who make you feel like a VIP. It’s the
staff. Whether greeting you by name, knowing your
“usual,” being your go-to person or treating you like
royalty in front of your family and friends, the people
who keep you most connected and cared for is the
community team. Once a relationship is well
established there, building connections between
residents is easier and more effective.
