Lloyd’s opened a platform in Dubai in 2015
to give the Lloyd’s market an underwriting base
in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Lloyd’s currently has 10 Lloyd’s service
companies Dubai and 4 coverholders in the
Middle East. The main lines of business
written by Lloyd’s Dubai are political risk,
terrorism, marine, energy, and aviation.
The Lloyd’s Dubai service companies also
provide tailored cover for a diverse range
of risks across the Middle East including
property, construction and engineering,
casualty, personal accident, professional
and financial risks, and contingency.
