A recent non-scientific survey of 30 random LBC online classes reveals that forums are by far the most popular type of learning activities that we build into our online classes. Of course they come in many different flavors, but forums make up 60% of the activities of the courses we surveyed. So it follows that making forums as effective as possible will greatly enhance the outcome and student experience in any given online class.
