What profiles does Secure Internet Service consist of ?
Secure Internet Service is generally offered with two different profile options : Child and Family . Criteria for Child and Family Profiles are determined by a board of academics specialized in psychology , pedagogy , sociology and law .
Safe Internet Service aims to protect internet users from negative content such as obscenity , sexual abuse of children , violence , racism , gambling , fraud , harmful software and the supply of hazardous materials for health .
Child Profile : Child Profile works with " white list " method . This method provides access to websites that have been confirmed to be safe .
Family Profile : Family Profile works with " black list " method . Websites with harmful content are not accessible under this profile .
Within the family profile , in addition to the Children ' s Profile , access to personal sites , forums and sharing sites is provided .
Internet users who prefer the family profile have the option to filter access to games , chat , social media sites and applications , if they wish .
