Get Connected
We invite you to join UAB’s team to support cancer patients and move cancer research forward. At the O’Neal
Comprehensive Cancer Center, we partner with a variety of foundations that help support patients with cancer in their
greatest time of need and fund innovative research to help fight cancer.
A number of patient and family events held throughout the year provide the opportunity to connect with others, support

JOIN OUR CANCER PATIENT AND FAMILY ADVISORY COUNCIL.
The UAB Medicine Cancer Patient and Family Advisory Council (Cancer PFAC) is comprised of
volunteers who recently have been cared for at UAB Medicine or whose family member was
cared for here. We are a voice for others working together to provide UAB Medicine’s leaders with
valuable feedback and insight regarding the planning, design, and delivery of care. If you would
