community-based studies are offered through clinical trials. Clinical trials are research studies in which patients participate
as volunteers to explore new therapies. We offer hundreds of clinical trials, some of which are only available at UAB.
Cancer Nutrition
Our registered dietitians work with you to make sure you are well-nourished during your cancer treatment and
survivorship. Our dietitians specialize in oncology and help minimize the side effects of cancer treatment through healthy
