THE BMF’ s Ambassador Group is evolving and aligning more closely with the BMF’ s Building Materials Careers programme. Hence the minor change in name to BMCareers Ambassador Group to reflect this realignment.
As previously, our Ambassadors will continue to visit schools and colleges, attend career fairs and exhibitions to raise awareness of careers and opportunities within our Sector. They will be looking to change perceptions of the building materials sector and help to attract future generations into the sector.
Ambassadors use their own experiences and career journeys to inspire new entrants and improve understanding of the sector’ s contribution to the UK economy and construction industry.
The Ambassador Group also now has a new Chair this year in the well-known shape of
Gavin Crane, the Chief Executive of Band of Builders. Gavin will be working very closely with the BMF’ s own Marianna Peet on the new direction for the Group.
We are always seeking more members to help us by becoming Ambassadors- if you are interested in finding out more contact Marianna Peet. Benefits for ambassadors include:
