elementalLONDON: where the building performance supply chain connects

THE transition towards more energy efficient, lower-carbon buildings is driving significant change across the construction supply chain. From heat pumps and heat networks to smart controls, ventilation and cooling, new technologies and changing regulations are reshaping the market and creating new opportunities for manufacturers, merchants, distributors and contractors.
elementalLONDON, taking place on 25-26 November at Excel London, colocated with London Build Expo, will bring these conversations together, giving the industry a dedicated platform to explore the technologies, trends and expertise shaping the future of building performance.
Understanding what comes next The programme will explore many of the issues already affecting businesses across the heating, building services and construction supply chains.
The Climate Solutions Theatre will examine the changing regulatory and technological landscape, with sessions including
“ Future Buildings Standards: The Prospects for Commercial Buildings”, looking at what evolving standards could mean for non-domestic buildings and the professionals specifying and delivering them.
The transition to low-carbon heating will also be a key theme, with“ Next Steps for the UK’ s Heat Pump Roll-
Out” exploring the opportunities and challenges surrounding wider adoption. Alongside this,“ How Do We Deliver on Government Heat Network
Targets?” will consider the role of heat networks in supporting the UK’ s decarbonisation ambitions.
As buildings become more energy efficient and increasingly airtight, cooling and indoor environmental quality are also becoming more important.“ The Battle Against Overheating: Why Cooling Has a New
Urgency” will explore the growing need for effective cooling solutions as the UK’ s climate changes.

From products to performance For the supply chain, the conversation is increasingly moving beyond individual products towards how technologies work together to improve the performance of an entire building.
CIBSE Build2Perform Live will bring engineers, consultants, manufacturers and other building services professionals together to explore the future of building performance, while the Sustainability Arena, delivered in partnership with London Build, will broaden the discussion to decarbonisation, embodied carbon, energy efficiency and net zero.
The exhibition floor will provide an opportunity to see these developments in practice, with more than 200 elementalLONDON exhibitors showcasing solutions across heating, cooling, ventilation, energy management and building systems. Exhibitors include Baxi, Danfoss, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, NIBE, Polypipe Building Products, Wavin, Wolseley and
Beijer Ref, alongside many other manufacturers and suppliers.
Connecting the supply chain Beyond discovering new products and technologies, elementalLONDON provides an opportunity for the industry to build relationships and share knowledge. With dedicated networking opportunities and more than 40 events taking place across the co-located shows, visitors can connect with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, engineers, specifiers and building owners.
As the market continues to evolve, staying informed about new technologies, regulation and customer expectations will be essential. elementalLONDON offers the supply chain a place to understand these changes, discover new solutions and connect with the people driving the next generation of building performance.
