One USQ Connectivity Project Learning and Teaching Space Upgrades Toowoomba T and Z block teaching space upgrades have been completed as part of the One USQ Connectivity Project (1UCP). 1UCP in consultation with key stakeholders has developed a new teaching space standard for upgrading existing USQ L&T spaces to significantly transform them to become a showcase for flexible, technology enabled teaching at USQ. What does this mean? Troy Downs Manager Unified Communication Project The following Toowoomba spaces have been completed and as a result are flexible didactic teaching and exam spaces. • • T121, T125, T124, T120, T119, and T118 Z125, Z129, Z312, and Z313 The following Toowoomba spaces have been completed and as a result are collaborative Pod and exam spaces. • T110, T111, T112, T113, and T122 Next Steps Throughout 2016 and prior to the start of Semester 1 2017, 1UCP will be working on the next phase of teaching space upgrades. This will be the tutorial and lecture theatre spaces at Springfield Building A, including the Auditorium. Unified Communications Throughout 2016 1UCP has been working with key stakeholders and trialling new unified communication products to help identify those that will form part of the Video Conference as a Service offering. Video Conferencing as a Service 1UCP is still developing the products that will make up this service, with a particular focus on providing a consistent approach to both using and supporting the final offering. 3
