The Saturday club ran through all of 2013/14 using young players from the Clubs Under 15 side to help with the coaching and participating in the brilliant London FA Goals 4 Girls festivals to help the players gain valuable experience of playing against other teams.
By the end of the season the Saturday club numbers had risen and over 25 girls were regularly attending each week. This enabled the club to enter both an Under 11 and an Under 12 side into the Kent Girls League for 2014/15. New coaches and helpers have been recruited from the parents to help take the team forward and they are now well established in their leagues.
The club has also forged a good link with the Millwall Lionesses team and the girls were thrilled to be invited to be mascots and ball girls for the recent WSL2 game at the New Den which saw Sunderland Ladies crowned WSL2 champions.
