Here at Globe Bullough Park in Accrington,

Lancashire we are pleased to announce the new

u13s teams who will be playing in the ADJFL and

ELFA. We have also managed to land a new sponsor

for the next two season kits supplied by EV2 Sports

once again.

Speaking to the manager Ste Cosgrove who has only recently joined Globe with his team he was pleased with the way the club has worked hard to get the lads the new kits. And, he is very happy with the quality and the individual design on the kit and thinks it stands out in a crowd. Steve runs two under 13s teams and both have had the new kits for the start of the season and all parents and kids are very pleased and proud to be wearing the Globe badge.

A spokesperson from one of the sponsor said, “As a local charity called scene it was great to see a club giving so much back to their local community. We thought what a great way to get our charity name out there we have shops all over the country and we have one in Accrington town centre so what a fitting way to try help out a club like Globe.”

“The charity we run is for deaf and blind people in the community and always looking to put things back into the local community.”

The second team Ste runs is playing in the Sunday league and has landed a two year deal with a local firm called Sign It. When a member of the club went to speak to the manager in their shop in Oswaldtwistle he was only two happy to help out he had this to say, “I have known about Globe

many years and remember the founder members of this club starting up over 20 years ago.”

“I myself have played in and vs this club and it has amazing values towards the community and the way they bring kids in from all over Accrington. When I was approached to sponsor a team I was more than happy to help.”

“My son played football at grassroots level and I also helped run a club many years ago it was a struggle back then so I can only imagine how hard it is now. I would like to wish Globe all the best and if there is anything else I can do to help they know where my door is .The club is a great place for kids to learn and enjoy the sport and with all the other stuff they do I look forward to seeing the lads play.”

We caught up with John Drinkwater, the founder of the club, and he had this to say, ”When I started this club with my wife years ago I never thought it would be still going now but with help from local companies like Sign It and Sense it's possible to keep clubs going but we must not forget it's the community who benefit from clubs like ourselves in all areas of the UK.”

Another person from the club said, “It's been a big turn round at the club this year with extra teams popping up all over and it’s been fun kitting the lads out in what can only be said is a smart kit. Many like it in the area EV2 designs are outstanding and the kit quality is top quality .I myself would like to thank all involved at the club this year and all the new sponsors we have had. Without your help we would not be in the position we are in right now so thank you all again and I hope you all come to see your teams in action during the season.”
