So what makes us unique

and different to the rest?

We have 2 coaches present at

every session, every session

is led by Nathan Sargeson

who has over 7 years’

experience of coaching at

every age, and from coaching

beginners to elite with also a

good experience of coaching

internationally to kids with

only basic english.

Our groups of participants

have no more than 14 players

which means a coach to

player ratio of 7:1. Also

sessions are structured so

every week we are working

on what kids needs to have

be successful in life not just

football. Balance, Co-ordination & social skills are

a must to watch a child

blossom and give them a

good start in life and at Little

Lions we see this as

important as mastering the

control of a football.

Little Lions has a philosophy

of making all session fun &

develop the player (Fun &

Development). The other

philosophy we have is during

planning of each session we

will make sure the child has

many touches of the ball to

ensure learning is key and

the manipulation of a

football becomes second

nature (More touches =

Greater learning). The

important of the kids having

lots of touches must come an

obsession and comes with

the ability of whilst they are

laughing, smiling, competing

they are having lots and lots

of touches so the learning

curve becomes big without

them knowing.

Growing & Success

Since March it has grown at

an incredible speed and now

we have over 70 participants

attending sessions every

week and our capacity at the

minute is 80. The growth has

come through

recommendations and

parents word of mouth. We

will continue to develop as

an organisation and hope to

boast a higher talented

football player once they

graduate having been on the

progression path from

Nursery to Year 1.
