TALKING tactics

with Dave Cook

Hello and welcome to the latest issue of the One-Two Magazine. After going live with our first ever online edition last time out i had a lot of people asking me if we could make the magazine available on more devices. Well i'm please to announce that you can now view the magazine on any mobile device or tablet as well as the usual desktop and laptop pc's. This means you can read the magazine wherever and whenever you want. We want the magazine to be available to as many readers as possible so it made sense to take this step.

This issue is packed full of content with several 'Focus On' profiles of clubs, news from the junior footballing community, as well as guest articles and competitions and quizes. As always we welcome any input from local clubs, players & coaches into the magazine because it was set up with you in mind and to give you and your clubs a voice.

Talking to people and reading all the interactions on our Twitter and Facebook pages i can proudly say that the grassroots game in the UK is still bursting with passion and dedication. From the chairmen/women of clubs down to the players, it's this love for the game that means as a community we are as strong as ever. And as long as this continues and we stick together as a community, then we can help bring about the changes we want to see to make the grassroots game even better.

Once again i'd like to thank everyone who has been involved in the making of this issue. A special thanks go out to those who have contributed with articles and stories. Not forgetting our sponsors because without their continued support there wouldn't be a magazine at all. If you have something you want to go in the next edition or you would like to advertise with us, please get in touch with us.

Thanks for reading and i hope you enjoy this issue

is now official endorsed by the Professional Footballers Association.

“The PFA is pleased to support One-Two Magazine to promote and support grassroots football. If football is to remain as the most popular spectator and participant sport in the world it is important that England, with its history in the game and its high economy status, does all it can to make sure that the base of the football pyramid is alive and well with good pitches, good changing facilities and above all good football coaches.”
