Bramhall North 75 Junior Football Club, Cheshire
The Bramhall North 75 Junior Football Club was established over 30 years ago and at present boasts teams at all age groups from Under 8 to Under 16 providing football for about 170 players. The Under 8′s, 9′s and 10′s play mini-soccer (7-a-side) progressing to 11-a side at Under 11. The small sided teams play at Neville Road Primary School, while the other teams play at a number of grounds, Linney Road, Woodford Recreation Ground and Parklands, Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
We now have an academy for kids as young as 4 which takes place on Saturday mornings 10am – 11:30am. My role as Academy Manager is to ensure kids learn football though fun as well as developing their skills. I also manage our under 12s team of which we have 30 players representing eagles (league two) and hawks (league four).
All our coaches are at least FA Level 1 and all are CRB checked. Each year we have a club presentation where all players receive a merit trophy. We believe all players should receive recognition for their contribution to the club and its a way the club can say thanks.
All our teams play in the Stockport Metro League of which we are the only remanding founder club. We now have teams competing from under 8 right though to under 18s as well as our academy.
Our under 12s do a toy collection every year for Stepping Hill Hospital at Christmas, I believe this is a great way of our players realising that there are kids less fortunate than themselves. We have also done a kit collection that we sent to children in Africa.

The whole idea of the club is we give kids the chance to play football no matter what their ability we charge £90 for the season. This is a lot less than any other club again because we are not about making money we are about kids playing football.
Ron Rossiter is our club chairman and he has been involved with the club for around 10 years, he is all about kids playing football. We have two presidents, Fred Cane who way back in 1975 founded the club, and Mike Frayne who has been involved in the club since the start.
