League Officer Profile
I am the league education officer for Sheffield and district junior league - I specifically liaise with the county
FA for course education - to find football related courses to pass on to all our club officials to all our member clubs throughout the league. We have over 12k players and over 1000 teams affiliated so this keeps
me quite busy - but thoroughly enjoy every part of it. To help members for their courses is somewhat
rewarding as then once the members qualify they pass their knowledge on to their children in their teams/
clubs. I’m also a committee member I work alongside our other league officials who individually have their
own roles within the league. I work mostly alongside our league secretary Nathan Batchelor.
Nathan is my right hand man who gives me great advice when I need it and has taught me loads in which
I am extremely grateful to. I see him as a great role model who I have lots of time for.
I also work within a club as a club welfare officer - again making sure children can play in a fun and safe
environment - again dealing with any issues that may arise and leasing with the league and County FA.
