MAGHULL F.C. UNDER 14's
We have started the defence of the cup last weekend with a good 5-0 win over a very good Kenbury side in the first round. The boys have played some very good stuff this term and are continuing to grow as a team and are regarded amongst the top teams on Merseyside.
Manager Joe Graham & Assistant Vinnie Sheeran are pleased with the development of the boys as they continue to try and build on past achievements. The team often get invites to tournaments far and wide and play against some fantastic teams including Bolton's academy, Morecombe, Hartlepool Schools FA & Belvedere who are a top side from Ireland.
The new shirts for this season have appeared on Soccer AM thanks to Stephen Graham (Actor & Joe's cousin) who kindly helped with the costs of the shirts and had the Cancer Research logo put on the tops to raise awareness for a great cause, keep your eye out on Saturday mornings you may spot the shirt on set!!
Maghull FC U14's (Sunday Side) play in the Walton & Kirkdale League, Long lane, Liverpool, L9 and are current League & Cup defending Champions and sit top of the table this season with a healthy 6 point lead.
MERSEYSIDE
We are part of a fantastic club with great history, Maghull F.C were formed in 1921 and to this day continue to grow and be a vital part of the local community with teams ranging from U7's right up to U18's four Ladies teams & the Reserves & First Teams. Maghull have recently teamed up with League 1 side Preston North End to establish a link and pathway for promising youngsters to showcase their talents with the possibility of trials at the Preston academy.
Recent Hounors include Bootle JFL League Winners x 2, Hightown JFL Double Winners x 3, Hightown Summer League Winners, Merseyside Futsal Champions and Southport Super Cup Champions
