NETHERLEY WOOD LANE LEGION BOYS (MERSEYSIDE)

Netherley Wood Lane Legion Boys is a new team formed in 2013 due to the new rules around the reduced number of players. We are proud to be associated with Netherley Wood Lane Legion and their outstanding history as a successful footballing club. We play in the Liverpool Belle Vale league under 9's on a Sunday.

Adam Sullivan

Ben Jarvis

Nathan Lloyd

Harry Lawton

Steven Downey

Rubin Edwards

Adam Sullivan: Adam normally plays in defence but due to us unsuccessfully attracting a goal keeper Adam has stud in and has made some outstanding goals. So much so I think we would struggle to find a replacement as good as him.

Ben Jarvis: Ben is a great presence on the pitch. He plays in defence for the team but can take some outstanding free kicks! Real power behind the ball.

John Lamont: not many balls get past this fella! Outstanding in defence john also likes to play attacking football and on many occasions goals have started from set play with John.

Ethan Melia: Ethan plays on the left wing and combines everything from strength to a superb quality to shoot. His left foot is lethal!

Nathan Lloyd: don't let his size deceive you, this kid give it his all and goes in hard with his body, using it to bully kids off the ball in midfield. A pure grafter.

Rubin Edwards; Rubin also plays in midfield but as adaptable to play in any position! Scored some fantastic goals this season even Luis Suarez would be proud of.

Steven Downey; Good things come in small packages and this lad is full of surprises! Super Ste is our striker and scored many goals this season. He keeps popping up like a terrier and slotting the ball.

Harry Lawton: H is like a little whippet down the right wing. His pace is unbelievable and will leave and opposition with major problems! This kid is like a tank, had many bruises that would see any grown man in bed for the rest of the week. He just bounces back and get the job done! H also takes our Corner kicks and is world class!

Coach - Carl Sullivan

The kids have made some strong bonds and great friendship! All the kids are a pleasure to train and a delight to watch! It's an honour to call them my team.
