the Milngavie and Bearsden area. During the early years of the club games were at Oakburn and the Red Blaze pitch at Lennox. As the club grew it spread its wings and visited tournaments throughout Europe.

Wanderers became more than just a football team and it soon had its own social club in Milngavie Town Centre - better know as the "Hen Hut" - many a great football team night out was experienced by all.

The committee members like George Sheerer, Donald Mackinnon and George wilson who went on to be the president of Scottish amateur association, worked hard to keep the club going and firmly on the map of scottish football.
