MIGORI YOUTH TALENT ACADEMY
OUR OBJECTIVES
To develop to meaningful levels the skills of talented young footballers through quality coaching and training to ensure quality football in Kenya.
To carry a process of talent search of potential players and include them in MYTA and hence inculcate in them entrepreneurship, leadership and peaceful co-existence.
To expose the young players to qualified mainstream footballers and help them gain from the inspiration and expansive experience of these players, this will help the young players set their sights on larger achievements and international dreams.
To inculcate in youth social awareness and help them develop as individuals of moral integrity and role models to youth from their respective communities.
Teaching the youth the import of social cohesion, unity, gender parity and peaceful co-existence in Kenya.
The soccer academy strives to discover and develop the unique football talent, throughout the nation, incorporating life skills into football. The academies formed will instill a positive mindset and equip the youths for the future. To be a national tool-and-mirror organization in the promotion of national football, producing talented and empowered youth for the mutual betterment of the society.
The Academy has managed with partnership educational institutions to place in secondary and primary schools students with talent and knowledge; who however could not attend due to financial constraints.
MYTA has also organized and attended tournaments and other regional, national and international competitions as an avenue in which to expose the players to developing game styles and to hone their competitive edge.
MYTA has also managed to place in other global and national academies e.g. Aspire football academy, JMJ football academy &c. It has also been possible to place players in the local league and also in the divisional league in Kenya.
