I am a 24 goalkeeping coach from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. I currently hold my FA Outfield and Goalkeeping level 2. I also hold many other qualifications in sport like athletics, basketball to name a few.

I have been coaching in primary schools across Hertfordshire with ages 5-12 years, Monday to Friday for the last 6 years. These sessions include breakfast clubs, national curricular PE lessons & after Schools Clubs. I also coach on a Monday and Friday night for Reading FC, with the development squad goalkeeper’s ages ranging from 7-16 years.

I have recently taken over King George FC under 7’s this season as a new challenge to coaching, these are the first steps of football

for the team and it all about the enjoyment factor and learning the game step by step.

Coaching has always been something I thought about from a young age, I first started helping a local team at the age of 14. Leading the warm ups and preparing the goalkeeper for the game. This is where the motivation came from to gain my badges and coach a team of my own.

Over the years I have found different ways of coaching but one thing I always incorporate into my goalkeeping sessions is a high tempo with lots of quality remembering the 1 saying I was told as a youngster ‘Train as you play’.

The next step for me and my coaching career is to gain my uefa B outfield then moving onto uefa B goalkeeping, but along the way continuing to help as many young goalkeepers as I can.
