We are always on the look-out for new players and volunteers so why not come down and join us? Girls Teams are the next thing we have planned so we would especially welcome any girls that want to become involved in a great sport. All our coaches are CRB checked and the child protection ethos runs through everything we do. Being affliated to the Lancashire FA, we guarantee that we run this club as professionally as any football club can be.

We were awarded our FA Charter Standard Status on the pitch of the Reebok Stadium in April 2011 and this is further evidence of the developments being made.Training takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm - 7pm at the superb 4G facility at Bolton St Catherine's Academy on newby Road in Breightmet - with this also being used as our home pitch for several of our older squads.

There is a fee of £4.00 per week and all this goes towards creating a self-sufficent football club giving something back to the local community. When the players sign on to enable them to play league games, there is also a £5.00 signing on fee - but this includes the mini-bus travel and all the other benefits of being a Wanderer.

All our coaching staff possess their FA Coaching badges and we can assure all parents that their

children will be coached the right way for all their future footballing careers. Our Head Coach is FA Level 2 qualified and all our coaches aspire to enhancing their skills to provide first-class football for all our players.

With a designated Events Co-ordinator, Breightmet Wanderers AFC are more than just a football club. Nights out, trips away for

the teams and loads of fund-raising events will ensure that all concerned join in with the togetherness we are promoting throughtout the club.

The media interest is increasing at a prolific pace and we have recently been featured on Bolton FM 96.5, the Bolton Independent, the Bolton Evening News and we even have the Bolton Woman of the Year 2010 as our Club Secretary! Not only that - but she is an official Olympic torch bearer for her efforts.

Breightmet Wanderers AFC is becoming THE football club for kids in the area. We are always looking for sponsors to help us on our way, and we can assure all

potential investors that their money will go into the community - making a real difference to the people of Breightmet.
