Braintree Town Girls U11s Braintree Town Girls U11's - Season Review 2014/15 Millie #1 (GK) Millie was a natural when I first started GK training with her, she picked up the techniques instantly! Since then I have seen Millie’s technical ability grow and on the pitch she comes across as quite the professional. I have seen her confidence and self-belief grow throughout the season and it continues to do so. With this she is able to show leadership on and off the pitch. Millie is brave, fearless and when rushing of her line she is fully committed and only has eyes for that ball, all of which are great attributes for a GK. Her shot-stopping skills have excited both sets of spectators all season, receiving encouragement and praise from opposition’s managers and players. Millie is very keen to learn and improve herself; she has become a perfectionist in what she does. Millie has a big role within the squad; her team mates value her as a player, person and a close friend. Millie has specialist GK training at the ‘Essex FA Girls PDC’. Millie was voted ‘Players’ Player of the Season’ & ‘Most Improved Player of the Season’ 2014/15 Bella #2 Bella has a great attitude towards everyone within the squad and she shows a great affection for her teammates. Bella is always engaged in learning and is always able to find ways to help the team improve their performance; she has even put down ideas and areas for the team to improve on paper. 10 www.onetwomagazineonline.com Bella is full of energy and can certainly lift the people around her in a dull moment. Throughout the season Bella gives it nothing less than her best, she enjoys playing in every position and even has a go in goal when needed, which she has put in top performances when called upon. Bella's understanding of the game has improved over the season. For me this season she has been a pleasure to work with. Bella was voted the ‘The Sports Personality of the Season’ 2014/15 Rebecca #3 (C) Rebecca is seen as a role model amongst the girls, at the start of the season they voted her as club captain. She is always working hard to improve and develop her football skills. Rebecca’s attitude towards me, teammates and opposition is outstanding. Rebecca sets the standard very high for herself, she relishes a challenge and does not shy away from the big games. On and off the pitch Rebecca leads by example and the other girls do follow. Her determination, drive, focus and willingness to always try her best is why Rebecca has developed so much throughout the season. But most of all I have seen her confidence grow, and with this she is a real force on the pitch. She shows great selfbelief when playing always wanting the ball. Rebecca always performs with an intense work ethic, giving 110% every single game! Her positive attitude brushes off on all the girls in the team and this sends a great message for all new girls joining the club. In November Rebecca got selected to train at the ‘Essex FA Girls PDC’. Rebecca was voted ‘The Managers Player of the Season’ 2014/15
