One Southern Indiana’ s 2026 Call to Action for the Indiana General Assembly continues to focus on concerns relating to Talent Attraction and Retention:
- Train students to properly align with employer needs and retain students as employed workers within the local economy.
- Develop new and enhanced tools to build and maintain infrastructure in support of diversified economic development and affordable housing.
- Increase the availability and affordability of childcare and eldercare so that workers have peace of mind that loved ones are cared for while they engage in the workforce.
