Pearls of Wisdom
Pearls of Wisdom features moving presentations by women who are leaders, entrepreneurs, change agents, and barrier breakers in our local region. Our speakers include some of the most extraordinary women you’ ll ever meet, sharing their stories, challenges, failures, successes, and hard-won wisdom through four events each year.
MMA Manufacturing Summit
The flagship event of the Metro Manufacturing Alliance, this forum brings area manufacturers together with industry thought leaders to share best practices, innovation and next-level thinking. The event also offers those who serve the manufacturing industry a chance to network with prospects in an informal and educational setting.
YP1si Signature Event
Every year, 1si hosts a signature event for the Young Professionals of One Southern Indiana. Every other year, the signature event will alternate between the YP1si 360 ° Bus Tour and a professional development luncheon. The 360 ° Bus Tour is a“ behind-the-scenes” look at local businesses with high-level speakers, informative lectures, lunch, transportation, and networking. The YP1si luncheon will be an opportunity for young professionals to come together and deep dive into a number of relevant topics with a keynote speaker. Both opportunities are a great way for young professionals to connect to the region and their communities.
Networking on the Green Golf Scramble
A favorite annual event, the 1si Golf Scramble offers a day of friendly competition and relaxed networking. There are many ways to get involved, from participating with a team to being a sponsor of this highly attended event.
Investor Day Celebration
Our investors make it possible for One Southern Indiana to have the deepest and broadest possible impact on the region we serve. We simply could not do what we do without them! This annual event is designed to recognize their generosity and share with them what their investment has produced.
Annual Meeting
A“ year in review” event, this annual luncheon provides members with an overview of the work and accomplishments of One Southern Indiana and presents a plan and vision for the future. It’ s also one of our most popular networking events.
Advocacy Events
One Southern Indiana hosts regular events that allow you to hear from your legislators and local elected officials about how current or proposed legislation may affect area businesses, including breakfast, luncheons, and one-on-one networking events.
The ONCE Awards
The annual ONCE Awards recognize the top businesses, organizations, professionals, and community leaders in our region. Any member organization or individual in good standing with One Southern Indiana may be nominated. Winners are selected by a panel of judges in each category and celebrated at this annual event. Categories include:
- Young Professional of the Year Award
( Age 40 or younger)- Professional of the Year Award- Community Leader of the Year Award- Business of the Year Award
( for companies with 50 or less employees)- Business of the Year Award
( for companies with 51 or more employees)- Non-Profit Program of the Year Award- Manufacturer of the Year- The Rising Star Award
( for businesses from 1 to 5 years old)
