French street artist Charles Leval aka
Levalet is in brazen interaction with his
environment and is transforming Paris into
a gallery, one that is open to all and shows
constant aesthetic motion. Welcome
to an urban rendezvous that is two-fold
whereby his public space becomes both
his canvas as well as an element in the
artwork.
Levalet’s characters are drawn using
India ink and are often positioned what
might be considered as bizarre situations
where they play out a visual and semantic
dialogue with passers-by.
