RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE
Restaurants are some of the most complex building types to design mechanical and electrical systems for. They are
extremely code-driven and have a tremendous amount of coordination and information sharing that is required. ONE has
had the good fortune to work on a multitude of restaurant and/or dining facilities.
Restaurants and clubs have seen a significant change in ventilation requirements in recent years, mainly due to local
governments requiring smokeless restaurants and clubs. This trend diminishes the need for tremendous amounts of
ventilation. However, designing the right amount of ventilation is of the utmost importance, mainly due to the potential for
high occupancy density. Clubs especially can accumulate 20 to 500 people within a matter of hours. Lighting requirements
for restaurants/clubs can be challenging where lighting is used to accentuate décor and activities. ONE’s team of Lighting
Certified designers provide beautiful, modern lighting options that transition well from day to night.
