LA NOUVELLE EVE The theater built in 1898 originally bore the name "Fantaisies Parisiennes". There were plays by Desfontaines, Scribe, Labiche and Feydeau. In 1920 a new name appears on the facade: "Gaîté". Léon Berryer launches this year the first nude magazine in Paris. The "All Paris" speaks about it! For several seasons the "Gaîté" is the darling of the capital. During the Second World War, the theater becomes a cinema. In 1949, René Bardy helped by the architect Maurice Gridaine and the decorator Rigal transforms the place into "Belle Epoque" style. The decoration is sumptuous: the starry and subdued ceiling, the fluorescent and multicolored track and the Corinthian-style stage pediment give this Parisian concert hall a unique cachet. The cabaret takes the name of "The New Eve". We then produce great shows: Extravagances, Shocking, Love Madame, The Daughters of Eve, Revue Blanche. The models are signed Erte, Lucien Bertaux, Paul Bugnaud, Balenciaga costumes, Maggy Rouff, Maison Revillon furs. In 1966, the new owners, Bernard and Adrien Pierini senior, decided to create typical Parisian magazines, whose production was entrusted to Georges Lugosi and Luis Diaz respectively. On the occasion of the centenary of the theater in 1998, Adrien Pierini created his first production "Century Show" followed in 2010 by the current magazine "Paris je t'aime" which he designed and produced on an original music by Nicolas Skorsky, and choreographies by Lianne Scrivener.
