Problem #3: My liner is running
PREVENT: Line your under eyes with a talc free eyeshadow (this helps catch any run off) and opt for setting your liner with eyeshadow (if you use liquid). You will get a better set and softer look. My favorite liquid liner that does not run is the Perfect Liner from LimeLight by Alcone ($18).
CORRECT: Wipe away what you can with a very small dab of a makeup wipe (you can get individual packages to keep in your purse) and keep a small buffing eyeshadow brush in the emergency kit. You can usually blend it out to make it look like a smoked liner in just a few seconds. That brush will also help correct your eyelid crease should you start to see your eyeshadow migrate.
Problem #4: My hair is frizzy or limp
PREVENT: With thick or frizzy hair, go for a blow out the day before (great option to get a gorgeous look for the rehearsal!). Extra tip - check Groupon for a group rate. If it's limp, wash and dry the day of the event.
CORRECT: To tame any out of control style, grab a keratin serum (travel size options on Amazon and Ulta).
Problem #5: My nail broke
PREVENT: Keep your nails short and opt for a light color to make any imperfections less obvious. My favorite shade is 'Bubblebath' by OPI.
CORRECT: Trim down the break with a file but file as little as possible. The little imperfection will most likely be completely missed by guests.
