Problem #1: My foundation is sliding off

PREVENT: Consider a primer spray for your foundation and setting powder . Your makeup will not be held together unless you have these two steps. If it's going to be hot, opt for a spray primer (Skindinavia is best choice as it does not contain silicone) and set with neutral powder (RCMA No-Color Loose Powder)

CORRECT: Blot oil as soon as it starts with travel size sheets. Don't have any handy or ran out? Grab a toilet seat liner (yes, really). They are the best pick in a pinch and are made of the exact same material.

Whether you are the bride, the bridesmaid or a guest, keeping your beauty look polished for photos is a must on any wedding day.

The best advice is to find a fantastic wedding makeup artist. Research their work and have your trial done as soon as you can so you are confident in your look for the big day. And finding the right makeup artist can be invaluable for future purposes such as special events, maternity photos, family photos, etc. The more an artist works with your face, the better the final image becomes.

Problem #2: My lipstick isn't staying

PREVENT: Apply lip liner first if you are opting for a liquid lip color and lock it in with a VERY fine dusting of setting powder. Want to go ultra matte? Grab a lip STAIN instead. You will get more bang for your buck but as a word of caution, be sure you practice more than once before you apply, as this product does not budge.

CORRECT: Keep your lip color products with you. Custom color? Ask your makeup artist for a sample. If this isn't an option, you can purchase a set of 12 mini lip balm/gloss containers for $8 on Amazon for just this reason. I personally always send my clients away with a sample or full size of their lipstick for this very reason.
