The right product
There are different options when it comes to brow
products on the market. There are gels, pencils,
powders, wax and probably even more than that.
What you use is completely up to you. Whether
you choose a powder or pencil, I do recommend
finding a good quality brow gel to set them in
place for the day. Think of it as hair spray for your
brows.
Know the shape
While everyone's brows are different, one thing
remains the same. The placement of the inner and
outer edges and the arch should follow the same
basic guide. The inner corner should not pass the
outer part of your nostril. The arch should be in a
line angled from your nose through the outer
portion of your pupil. Your brow should end at an
angle that extends from your nose through the
outer corner of your eye.
Step 1
Using a brow comb, comb your brows so they
are all going in basically the same direction. If
you are starting on the bottom of your brow,
comb them at an upward angle. If you're
starting on the top, comb them down more.
This is so you can see what areas need to be
filled in the most, and also to ensure you're
getting the right shape as you draw the
outline.

Step 3
Complete that process on the top of the brow.
With the top, I like to use short strokes that
mimic the look of the hairs and fill in any
sparse areas. Having a harsh line on the top of
the brow looks unnatural and will not flatter
your face.
Step 4
Using those same short, hair-like strokes, fill in
the rest of the brow. Once everything is filled
in, use the spoolie or brow comb to lightly
comb the hairs and evenly distribute the
product.
Using a brow pencil or a liner brush with brow
powder on it, begin to lightly trace along the
bottom of your brow. Be sure you're not using
a lot of pressure. Too much pressure will give a

brow gels available on the market. A tinted
brow gel is nice if yours are light and you want
to deepen the shade.
