There is a perception that “out of sight / out of mind” Growing Your Business Your Three Step Guide To Success Are you craving success? Here’s your three step guide to success. Spring is a great time to get your business in bloom. One of the things I see the most when it comes to entrepreneurs and small businesses is that they get busy working on their business that they forget to work in their business. Not sure what I mean by working in your business? Do you spend time working on sales? Building your opt in? Networking? Nurturing Prospects? You know the things that actually move the needle forward in your business and put money in the bank? 1. Block time on your calendar. If you want to be successful you have to spend time on that dirty word, yup, you have to spend time doing sales. Sales will be the lifeblood of your business. Sales will help you get from where you are to where you want to be in both life and business. I recommend managing a top ten list of prospects on a weekly basis and setting scheduled times each week to meet with prospects. This will help ensure that you are booked because if you have an empty slot you know you will have to get that one filled. 2. Set goals and find someone to hold your accountable: One of the best things to keep your needle moving forward is to find an accountability partner. This is someone who will keep you moving forward toward your goals and all the little tasks along the way. You will help do the same thing for them. This is great because it helps you avoid the excuses from time to time 3. Put yourself out there: It's amazing to me, I hear many people who want to be successful, who want to get out there but aren’t willing to do the work, or aren’t willing to actually put themselves out there. It so silly to me. If you want to be an entrepreneur there is a certain amount of yourself that you are going to have to share with the world however big or small it will have to happen for you to be successful. So get comfortable sharing pieces of your life. Practice introducing yourself in Facebook Groups, Linkedin Groups. Go out and network. Meet new people. Just get out there.
