This look is SO simple and easy to rock with
your everyday casual to even a working chic
fashion. Headbands are blossoming into an
ultra easy jewelry alternative and are a simple
solution to fake a fancy hairstyle. Messy, low
buns are an easy go to for just about all of us.
Heavy highlighting and contouring is too bold
with the bright colors of spring. Take it back to
basics. Flawless, light foundation, true bright
pink to cheeks to emulate a ‘flushed’
appearance and beautiful lashes. Look for a
foundation with a true illuminating undertone
to add a natural, gentle glow. Make Up For Ever
‘Ultra HD’ Liquid and Dior Skin ‘Airflash’ are
great for a bigger budget or Maybelline FitMe
‘Dewey + Smooth’ is a great drugstore dupe.
For work, pair with a muted pattern top (think
floral or lace) or add with a plain shift dress.
Just be sure to hide the string of the headband
with a loose piece of hair to avoid an
unprofessional appearance.

Pop of Color
Eyeshadow:
Adding a gorgeous bright tone to your lower
lash or lid line is the perfect complement to
the ‘no-makeup’ makeup. Light blue, summer
pink, lilac purple, mandarin orange. Start with
pastel but don’t be afraid to get vibrant! The
trick to avoid too bold of a look is to keep the
rest of your face modest. Adding harsh
contouring will wash out the pop of color so
skip the contouring and add a pretty clear gloss
to your lips instead of a bold shade.
Natural
Brows:
Heavily filled in brows look great with a full
face of makeup but the natural brow is back for
the year. The most important way to achieve
the best appearance with this look is to have
your brows properly groomed. Get them waxed,
threaded and shaped by a reliable source.
