The men weren ’ t the only ones putting on a show for the crowd . FactoryONE Sherco ’ s Louise Forsley , Beta ’ s Morgan Tanke , and Spyke ’ s Bikes Bonanza Plumbing ’ s Rachel Gutish each took their turn for the title , showing that girls can ride bikes , too . Despite a few mechanical issues , and an impressive ghost ride over the finish line , Forsley was able to fend off Tanke for a second-place finish , with Gutish taking the top box .
With the prologue finished and the starting order for the Pro Hot Laps determined , it was time to pack up and head an hour south to the infamous Trials Training Center in Sequatchie , Tennessee , for the main event .
Racing started bright and early Saturday morning with the first single-lap knockout race ; of the 326 racers that lined up , only the top 200 would continue . Chase Landers set the fastest time , coming in at 50 minutes 37 seconds out of the allotted 2.5-hour limit . Jojo Toole ,
