After two races , the field was pared down to the top 15 riders , including six-time TKO winner FactoryONE Sherco ’ s Cody Webb , DRT Husqvarna ’ s Ryder LeBlond , and Magna1 Motorsports Husqvarna ’ s Jordan Ashburn .
The rocks of TTC are extremely unique , almost seeming to sweat in the Tennessee conditions . While finding traction in the rock gardens was a feat in and of itself , it was actually the hill climbs that seemed to decide the podium for 2021 .
Lettenbichler and Bolt battled closely for the six-lap race , with the KTM rider getting the jump and leading the opening lap . Bolt was close behind and quickly capitalized on a small mistake in one of the creek sections , overtaking Lettenbichler . This lead was shortlived , as a failed hill section cost Bolt precious seconds , and the lead . The race came down to the final stretch ;
